I bought these about a month ago so I'm not sure yet about tread wear but they are a huge improvement to my high end all season run flats in snow and winter conditions. They grab the snow-covered roads much better, clearly improved cornering, stopping and turns and they also ride quietly on bare pavement. I am very pleased with them. I am not seeing noticeable reduced gas mileage. I have an Audi Q7 Prestige with 20" tires...I bought 18" winter tires, adjusting for the diameter changes so the height remained static. It worked--the car did not sound off any warning bells, such as the ESC, tire or engine lights. That is always the big concern so if you are changing the diameter of ...
